Are we out of January yet? 😒 Well we had a very enjoyable few weeks in Kilsaran. Almost a full house re paint for Mary and Gerry who got a lot of work done with paneling, new doors and new floors. But here’s some cool pics of the hall with Mary taking all the credit for her colour choice in the hall with treacle pudding on the walls and french white on the woodwork. Some real time footage of getting our second kitchen of the year sprayed with its first undercoat. It’s an old kitchen which has been hand painted badly over the years so we sanded out all the runs and brush marks. The first kitchen of the year went from a very dull oak to a very bright warm white from @colourtrendpaints range Eiderdown. We used a HVLP sprayer to get a really fine spray finish on this one. We also installed new kick boards for our client as her old ones were falling apart. Give us a DM if you’d like your kitchen like this one! #moranpainting #kitchenspray

Sprayed ceiling to floor panelling this week for the lovely Claire. We spent 3 days just prepping before any top coats could be started. We caulked, filled and sanded with fine grit paper between each undercoat. It always helps when the carpenters angles are good and uses decent timber for these projects. This is a kitchen we completed last week for the lovely Liz. We used the colour Eiderdown on the main kitchen and Marsh ground on the island (thanks Michelle) we used the same handles and they worked perfectly with the colours liz chose. Kitchen done this week in Belfry gardens for the lovely Fiona and Jimmy. Sprayed with blockade and 3 top coats of WB50 in Colourtrend’s Shell cove. Shell cove is a colour I will be recommending going forward 👌 New chrome handles fitted to finish it off.

Here’s a kitchen we sprayed last week using @farrowandball cornforth white on the tops and worsted on the bottoms. This oak kitchen was over 30 years old and needed a lot of prep to get the result we got in the end. The customer said it was a very dark kitchen and wanted it brighter. I think we achieved that.

Delighted to pick up our new merchandise today. A big thanks to @zomabranding for the lack of stress getting these organised. We are delighted with them.

A job we done before Christmas, handrail had a mahogany finish on it. We stripped it back using peel tec, which I think is the best stripper on the market at the moment. We done a quick make over for little Vince who starts solids this week. This baby’s high chair was 60 years old. Here’s a kitchen we finished a few weeks ago in Dundalk. Spraying the kitchen, doors and frames with WB 50 in Silk seal, and the island in sweat caper.
